Jackadder International has opened a new office in Sydney to support its continued growth and to provide a secure environment for its specialist consultants working remotely. The serviced office is located at Level 20, Tower Two Darling Park, 201 Sussex Street.
With offices now in Darwin and Sydney, Jackadder’s Managing Director Lou Martini said the company’s expansion will enable clients to draw on a growing team of highly skilled independent ICT consultants to meet their service needs.
Jackadder International has been appointed to the new NT Government Panel Contract D19-0147 for the Provision of ICT Specialist Services for a period of 36 months. Jackadder was selected for all five service packages under the panel, extending the services it is able to offer NTG Agencies to:
Package 1 – ICT Business Solutions
Package 2 – ICT Consulting Services
Package 3 – ICT Specialist Resources – Programs and Projects
Jackadder’s Managing Director Lou Martini was delighted with the appointment which he said “reflected the great work our team of highly skilled consultants have provided to our NT Government clients over the last few years”.
Jackadder International has recently appointed two new principal consultants, expanding the company’s presence in the Northern Territory. Gary White, Principal Consultant Professional Services and Liz Shenton, Principal Consultant Solutions Architecture join Jackadder’s growing team of highly experienced independent consultants.
Gary brings to the organisation significant experience in organisational management, project delivery and change management, and has extensive experience in the Healthcare Technology Sector. Liz is an experienced Solutions Architect with more than 13 years experience in designing and implementing business solutions utilising both emerging and contemporary technologies.
Jackadder’s Managing Director Lou Martini said he was delighted to have both Gary and Liz join the team “Jackadder’s business model is unique – we only employ the best consultants, allowing us to deliver unparalleled solutions for our clients”.
Lou Martini, Director of Jackadder International, said he was proud to announce the ICT advisory and consulting firm’s sponsorship of the Charles Darwin University’s highly regarded IT Code Fair for 2016. As the inaugural Treasurer of the NT Information Industry Association and Co-Chair of the NTG’s first Ministerial Advisory Council for ICT, Lou said he understood the importance of supporting the development of the local ICT Industry.
The IT Code Fair, which this year will be held on the 11 November, involves a series of activities including Software Coding and Project Poster Competitions, Code Workshops, Business Innovation Challenge and importantly the chance for students to meet potential employers through an Employer Speed Dating Event. The popular annual event is supported by the ICT Industry Association of the Northern Territory and the Northern Territory Government and last year was opened by the Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull.
Under the sponsorship arrangement Jackadder International will provide the $250 prize for the best Project Poster at this year’s event. Lou said he was very much looking forward to attending the IT Code Fair as well as participating as a member of the judging panel for the Project Poster competition.
Jackadder International was recently engaged by the Northern Territory Government’s Department of Corporate and Information Services to undertake an independent Gateway review of the business case for a new All-of-Government Information System.
The review was led by Jackadder International’s Director and Principal Consultant, Lou Martini, and involved a critical assessment of the business case, including the argument to proceed with an enterprise system and the estimated costs, timeframes, governance structure and resource requirements to implement the system. A detailed analysis of the risks and impacts associated with the recommended solution was also undertaken.
Drawing on precedent in other jurisdictions, and on his business and industry experience, the review was completed by Lou on time and within budget, to the full satisfaction of the project sponsor.
